Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U Win Myint met separately with Mr Johannes Singhammer, Vice President of the German Federal Parliament, and Mr Hideo Watanabe, Chairman of the Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association, in Nay Pyi Taw on November 17, 2016.
At the meeting with Mr Johannes, they discussed matters related to cooperation between the two parliaments, Myanmar parliament’s cooperation with Inter-parliamentary Union-IPU and AIPU, measures taken for building a democratic federal nation, legislation at the Myanmar parliament and friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting with Mr Hideo Watanabe, they discussed matters related to friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and Japan, humanitarian aids, human resource development and socio economic development in Myanmar.
