Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann received a delegation 29 July led Mr Kevin Rudd, Former Prime Minister of Australia and now President of the U.S.-based Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI), at the same venue in the afternoon. Also present at the meetings were members of the Pyithu Hluttaw Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission and officials of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw offices.
