Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann received State Councillor and Secretary General of the China’s State Council Mr Yang Jing and party at Zabuthiri Hall of the Hluttaw Complex, here, on 12 May.
They exchanged views on bilateral ties and cooperation between Myanmar and China.
Also present at the call were Pyithu Hluttaw committee chairmen Thura U Aye Myint, U Maung Maung Thein, U Thein Zaw, U Thein Swe and U Hla Myint Oo, member of Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission and officials of the Hluttaw Office. The Chinese delegation was accompanied by Chinese Ambassador Mr Yang Houlan.
