Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann, together with Chairman U Thein Swe of
Pyithu Hluttaw Transport, Communication and Construction Committee and officials, left Yangon for Kanyutkwin in Bago Region on 10 May morning.
First, the speaker visited the paddy field irrigated under Kun Creek Water Pumping Project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation in Kanyutkwin in Pyu Township.
Then, the speaker visited the site for construction of the town hall before greeting doctors and nurses at Kanyutkwin People’s Hospital.
Afterwards, the speaker inspected the site for construction of a prayer hall in Kanyutkwin and attended to the needs.
The speaker later inspected the construction of expansion wards in Pyu and the town hall and heard reports on construction tasks.
The speaker urged officials to make efforts for timely completion of the buildings with set standards. Then, the speaker left Pyu for Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon.
