Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Lower House Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann on Monday met local and foreign journalists at the Hluttaw building here.
The speaker answered the questions of journalists from Ji Ji Press, NHK, Sankei Shimbun, Wall Street, Channel News Asia, AFP, DVB, RFA, Mizzima, Kumudra, Union Daily and MRTV-4. In the afternoon, Thura U Shwe Mann individually received a Chinese delegation led by foreign affairs minister Mr. Wan Yi , foreign minister Mr.Ri Su-yongof the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and foreign minister Mrs Sushma SWARAJ of India.The meetings were attended by MPs and representatives of parliamentary committees.
