The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Lower House Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann attended a ceremony on Sunday, which was held to launch free eye care services to poor patients in Yangon.
It was organized by Upper House’s Relief and Resettlement Committee and a 20-member team led by Eye Specialist Dr Aye Tun, who will provide health care services to about 3,000 patients as part of a project that started on July 17.
At the ceremony, Chairman U Khin Shwe of Zaykaba Co., Ltd donated cash and glasses through Eye Specialist Dr Aye Tun and departmental officials.
