Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Lower House speaker Thura U Shwe Mann on Tuesday received the Ambassador of Denmark to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Mikael Hemniti Winther at Parliament Building here.
Mr. Mikael Hemniti Winther is the Danish ambassador to Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia, and his diplomatic mission is based in Bangkok, Thai- land. The meeting was also attended by U Hla Myint Oo, chairman of House International Relations Committee, and Daw Aye Aye Mu, member of Legal Affairs and Special Affairs Assessment Commission. In the afternoon, Thura U Shwe Mann, U Khin Aung Myint, speaker of the Upper House, and the staff members of their offices donated Waso robes to the Buddhist monks at the same venue.
