Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker meets Japan Prime Minister

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Win Myint and Japanese Prime Minister Mr.Shinzo Abe held talks in Tokyo yesterday over promoting cooperation in all sectors between the two countries.

The discussion also focused on promoting relations between the two governments and the two parliaments.

Speaker U Win Myint isvisiting Japan at the invitationof Mr. Tadamori Oshima, theSpeaker of the House of Representatives of Japan.

Present at the meeting were U Win Myint Aung, Secretary of Pyithu Hluttaw Citizen’s Fundamental Rights Committee,

U Inn Hton Khar Naw Sam, Pyithu Hluttaw Ethnic Affairs and Internal Peace Implementation Committee, U Htun Htun,

A member of Government’s Guarantees, Pledges and Undertaking Vetting Committee, U

Htun Myint, a member of  the Citizen’s Fundamental Rights Committee, Pyithu Hluttaw representative Thura U Thet Swe Myanmar Ambassactor to Japan U Thurein Thant Zin and  officials from Pyithu Hluttaw Office.

Following the meeting, the Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker and  party attended a dinner hosted  by Japan-Myanmar  Association at Hotel New Otani, Garden Tower, Tokyo at 6pm (local time).

At 9 am, the Pyithu Hluttaw  Speaker and party visited the Im- perial Palace.
