At the invitation of H.E. Mr. Tadamori Oshima, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, a delegation led by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Win Myint departed from Kyoto yesterday morning and arrived in Hiroshima at 12:10 am. In Hiroshima Speaker U Win Myint gave condolence for the people who died in the 1945 nuclear bombing of Hiroshima. Consequently, the delegation led by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker went and observed Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima. The Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker and party arrived at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and visited the Peace Memorial Museum. Earlier in the day at 9am, U Win Myint and party also visited Kinkaku-ji Temple in Kyoto.
The Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker and party were then hosted at a luncheon by Hiroshima Mayor Mr. Kazumi Matsui.
