Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker and Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein received Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China H.E.Mr.Ding Zhongli and party at Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
In the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed cooperation between governments, parliaments and peoples, Following the visits of the leaders of the two countries; government of China further assisting, cooperating and Participating in Myanmar’s transition to democracy and the peace process; bilateral trade, investment, energy and human resources developmentary; and parliament matters.
Present at the meeting were Pyithu Hluttaw’s international relations committee chairman U Zaw Thein, electricity and energy development committee chairman U Kyi Moe Naing, secretaries U Bo Bo Oo, U Soe Myint @ U Aung
Zaw Myint, international relations committee member Daw Pyone Kaythi Naing and officials, while Mr.Ding hongli and party were accompanied by Ambassador of China to Myanmar Mr. Hong Liang.
After the meeting, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker and Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China H.E.Mr.Ding Zhongli and attendees posed for a commemorative group photo.
Later in the evening, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker and Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker hosted a dinner for H.E.Mr.Ding Zhongli and party at the Park Royal Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.
