Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat received outgoing Italian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Pier Glorgio Aliberti, who has completed his tour of duty in Myanmar, in the guest hall of the Pyithu Hluttaw in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting,they discussed matters relating to enhancing friendly relations and cooperation between Myanmar and Italy, the democratictransition in Myanmar, assistingin the peace process, and development and technical cooperation in the preservation ofMyanmar’s cultural heritage.
The meeting was attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein andofficials from the Pyithu Hluttaw office.
