Thura U Shwe Mann separately receives UN’s electoral officer, US security advisor

Chairman of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission Thura U Shwe Mann received a delegation led by Ms. Svetlana Galkina of the United Nations (UN) Electoral Assistance Office at the Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

During the meeting, they discussed legal issues, improving the voting system and cooperation matters.

Chairman of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s Legal Affairs and Special Cases Assessment Commission Thura U Shwe Mann also received a delegation ledby National Security Advisor for House Majority Leader Mr. Luke Murry at the same place yesterday afternoon. During their meeting, they exchanged views on peace and development processes along with issues on democracy transformation.
