Thura U Shwe Mann, Chairman of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Commission for the Assessment of Legal Affairs and Special Issues, met with a British delegation led by Mr John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons of Great Britain, at the parliamentary building in Nay Pyi Taw on October 5, 2016.
Also present at the meeting were vice chairmen and members of the commission and officials and Ambassador of Britain to Myanmar Mr Andrew Patrick. The British delegation also held talks with the Speakers of Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw on October 5, 2016.
