Thura U Shwe Mann meets locals in western Bago region

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann met locals in Pyay, Gyobingauk and Monyo townships of western part of Bago region on 26 July. During the meetings, the speaker discussed with local authorities and development committees about education, health, electricity supply and environmental conservation. The meetings were attended by Bago region’s Chief Minister U Nyan Win, parliamentary representatives, chairmen of township development committees, NGO staff and the residents. Thura U Shwe Mann and his wife Daw Khin Lay Thet also visited Shwesandaw Pagoda in Pyay Township this morning.
