Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann received Mrs Catherine M Russell, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Office of the US Secretary of State, at the hall of Pyithu Hluttaw Building on 15, May.
Also present at the calls were Chairman of Pyithu Hluttaw International Relations Committee U Hla Myint Oo, US Ambassador Mr. Derek Mitchell and officials of the Pyithu Hluttaw Office.
The speaker also held talks with MP of National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Vice Chairman Mr Park Byeong Seug of Korea-Myanmar Friend ship Association and party at the same venue.
